These homemade gluten free chicken rubs make dinner time extra easy.
Ingredients

For the Chicken Rub:
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 tsp. sea salt
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 2 tsp. dried oregano
- 2 tsp. dried thyme
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
For the Mediterranean Rub:
- 1/2 tsp. coarse sea salt
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp. dried basil
- 1/4 tsp. dried parsley
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. dried thyme
- 1/8 tsp. dried rosemary
- 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
For the Savory Rub:
- 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. onion powder
- 1 Tbsp. rosemary
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground sage
- 1 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 1 tsp. ground black pepper
Instructions
- Mix all of the ingredients together in a small bowl.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container for future use.
Notes
- I usually grind my dried rosemary in a mortar and pestle to reduce the size of it in these herb mixes.
- Use the Mediterranean rub on salmon or on roasted or grilled vegetables with some oil. I usually add a little extra sea salt to the vegetables too.
- The Savory rub is also great on pork.
- Use the Chicken rub on breasts, thighs or a whole chicken. You can cook the whole chicken on the grill or in a slow cooker with a cup of broth for 3-4 hours on high.
