Description

This chimichurri sauce is made with fresh herbs and is so versatile. It is delicious on steak, chicken, seared tuna or grilled vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup flat leaf parsley
  • 3/4 cup cilantro
  • 3/4 cup basil
  • 1/2 cup baby spinach
  • 3 Tbsp. lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1 tsp. sea salt
  • 6 Tbsp. olive oil (extra virgin, organic and cold pressed)

Instructions

  • In a blender or food processor, add all of the ingredients but the olive oil.
  • Blend together, slowly adding the olive oil. Blend until smooth.

Notes

This is a great sauce for steak (tenderloin filet, NY strip, sirloin or flank steak), chicken, seared tuna, salmon or grilled vegetables.

You can blend in some avocado if you want to make this a bit creamier.
