This salad dressing pairs nicely in salads with with apples, pears, dried fruits and toasted nuts. It is one of my favorites!
I began making my own salad dressings years ago, when I started reading labels more closely. I was trying to eat healthier oils and avoid ingredients that contained gluten and unwanted additives.
It was hard to find store bought options that fit my needs. So, I learned to make my own. It takes very few ingredients to make a salad dressing. And, I felt better selecting the healthiest ingredients to include.
What’s even better is that you can make a dressing in just a few minutes!
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- Olive Oil (Organic, Extra Virgin)
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Maple Syrup
- Dijon mustard
- Sea Salt
- Pepper
Making the Recipe:
This is so simple, it’s hard to believe. You measure out all of the ingredients in a glass measuring cup or bowl and whisk them together.
Next, add the dressing to some mixed greens, toasted nuts and some apple or pear slices and toss it all together. Enjoy!!
