I first started bringing these turkey roll ups to work to tide me over between meals and meetings. But, I also found that they worked as great snacks for my kids too!
I make two different varieties: one with organic cream cheese and the other with avocado. Then, it’s just a matter of which veggie you like to add to it! I like slices of bell pepper, cucumbers or snap peas in mine.
What You’ll Need:
Making the Recipe:
I usually make these turkey roll ups two different ways. One roll up includes avocado and the other has organic cream cheese as the healthy fat.
From there, I pick my favorite veggie combination to go with each, depending on my mood. If you love avocado, try a slice of bell pepper or cucumber. The cucumber also goes well with cream cheese as does a snap pea.
You’ll find a few of these roll ups makes a satisfying snack. They contain the protein, healthy fat and carbohydrates to keep your blood sugar stable and your tummy full.
Making these are so easy! You’ll take a slice of turkey breast and spread either the avocado or cream cheese on top of it. If your avocado is a bit firm, mash it a bit before putting it on the turkey.
Next, you’ll add your favorite veggie slices. Roll them up and eat them!
