A delicious salad dressing can make a salad. This vinaigrette is thick and heavier on the balsamic, but is absolutely divine on mixed greens with nuts and dried fruit!
I usually make my own salad dressings if I can. You can select quality ingredients to use that are healthier for your body and it only takes 5 minutes to make one.
I love this dressing on mixed greens. It balances nicely with some walnuts or pecans and dried fruit like cranberries or cherries.
What You’ll Need:
Aged balsamic is key in this recipe. The quality of the balsamic vinegar makes a huge difference. I tried making it once with a cheap balsamic vinegar and regretted it!
Making the Recipe:
Start by adding the olive oil and balsamic vinegar to a glass measuring cup or bowl. Next, you’ll add in the seasonings (dried basil, black pepper, garlic powder and salt).
Whisk them together and drizzle over your salad.
