I have always loved just about any egg dish with salsa. This tasty plate is no different. To make this, I start with some toasted gluten free bread and top it with mashed avocado and a fried egg. Finally, I top it off with some fire roasted salsa.
To make this as nutritious as possible, I believe it’s important to focus on quality ingredients. I recommend buying organic eggs and butter that are from chickens and cows allowed to roam and feed in the pasture. These ingredients are typically free of GMO’s and are healthier sources of protein and fats.
What You’ll Need:
- Gluten Free Bread
- Avocado
- Organic Eggs
- Organic Butter or Ghee
- Salsa
Making the Recipe:
You’ll start by toasting your bread.
Next, mash a quarter of an avocado on each slice of bread and set it aside.
Next, melt the butter or ghee in a skillet over medium heat. Crack your eggs in the pan and cook them to your liking.
Place the fried egg on top of the toast with avocado and top with salsa.

Ingredients
- 2 slices bread, gluten free
- 1/2 avocado, mashed
- 2 eggs (pastured, organic), fried
- 1/2 Tbsp. butter or ghee (organic)
- 1/4 cup salsa
Instructions
- Toast your bread.
- Mash the avocado with a fork and place half of the avocado on each piece of toast. Set aside.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Melt your butter or ghee. Fry the egg to your preference from over easy to over hard.
- Place the egg on top of the avocado toast and top with salsa.
