Cucumber Smoked Salmon and Avocado Bites

This healthy cucumber and smoked salmon snack is incredibly easy to make and so delicious!

My favorite snacks and appetizers to make are those that can be made quickly and also taste amazing. What you’ll love about this snack is that it also doubles as a great appetizer.

What You’ll Need:

Cucumber Smoked Salmon and Avocado with Tamari on White Cutting Board.

  • cucumber
  • smoked salmon
  • avocado
  • tamari sauce (or coconut aminos for soy free)
  • Everything But The Bagel seasoning (or sesame seeds)

Making the Recipe:

Start by slicing the cucumber. Make enough slices for the number of bites you’d like to make. I usually plan for about 4 bites per person.

Drizzle a little tamari on your serving plate. Place the sliced cucumbers on top of the plate.

Top with a piece or two of smoked salmon and a slice of avocado. Sprinkle a little Everything But the Bagel seasoning or sesame seeds on top of the bites.

You can also add a little freshly minced basil or cilantro to the top of the bites and a little more tamari, if you like.

Cucumber Smoked Salmon and Avocado Bites

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 English cucumber
  • 4 oz. smoked salmon, wild-caught
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 4 tsp. tamari, reduced sodium
  • Everything But the Bagel seasoning (or sesame seeds)

Instructions

  1. Slice the cucumber.
  2. Drizzle a little tamari on a serving plate.
  3. Place the cucumber slices on top of the plate. Put a small piece or two of smoked salmon on each cucumber slice. Top with a slice of avocado.
  4. Sprinkle the bites with some Everything But the Bagel seasoning or sesame seeds.

Notes

  • You can drizzle the tamari sauce on top of the bites, if you prefer. Or, you can do both!
  • If sensitive to soy, consider using coconut aminos instead.
  • Add a little fresh herbs (basil, cilantro or chives) for a garnish.
  • You can substitute sushi grade tuna for the smoked salmon, if you prefer.
