Peach & Blueberry Probiotic Smoothie

peach and blueberry smoothie in glass on light yellow cloth.

This probiotic smoothie is flavorful and good for your gut. Antioxidant fruits, spinach and kefir combine to give your digestive system a boost.

I like to try and balance my meals as much as possible. For me, that means some protein, healthy fats, fiber and carbs from fruits and vegetables.

All too often, breakfast was lacking in this department for me. So, I started to introduce smoothies and more vegetables to my morning routine. I like to add leafy greens to most smoothies for their fiber and nutrient benefits.

This smoothie uses peaches and blueberries, along with spinach and kefir as the primary ingredients. Kefir is a fermented milk that has probiotic benefit. Kefir along with fiber from the vegetables and fruits work together to build healthy gut bacteria important to good digestion.

If you want something that is easy to make and good for you, give this a try!

What You’ll Need:

Making the Recipe:

You can make this smoothie in 5 minutes or less!

Start by adding your frozen peaches and blueberries to the cup of a Nutri bullet or blender. Pour in the kefir and water. Next, you’ll add the spinach, protein powder, flax meal and a little honey.

If you want your smoothie a little creamier, add 1/4 of an avocado. I find it also can help to blend the flax meal into the smoothie a bit better.

Blend until smooth and enjoy!
