Belgian Endive Bites with Cream Cheese and Nuts

Belgian endive bites with cream cheese and pepper jam on white plate.

This festive endive and cream cheese appetizer tastes delicious and is so easy to make!

If you are searching for an appetizer that can be made quickly and is something different, you need to look no further. I love the bright colors and the pop of flavor that comes from the pepper jam in this recipe. So delicious!

You can also make this vegan/vegetarian by using a dairy free cream cheese.

What You’ll Need:

  • Belgian endive
  • red pepper jelly
  • cream cheese (dairy free for vegan/vegetarian)
  • chopped hazelnuts

Making the Recipe:

You’ll want to chop your nuts first. You can do that in a small food processor or by hand with a knife, if you prefer.

Next, wash and dry the Belgian endive leaves. Spread a little cream cheese in each leaf.

Top with red pepper jelly and chopped nuts. If you want to avoid the spice in the red pepper jelly, you can also use a fig spread, chutney or a jam of your choice.
